Wireless Solutions

Wireless solutions are critical to the success of your employees, customers,  tenants and operations

More than eighty percent of mobile traffic originates or terminates within a facility.  More wireless towers exist today than ever before, but factors such as heavy usage and physical barriers like low-E glass can block or severely degrade cellular service.

Today's always on, always connected, big-data -devices cannot be supported by the outdoor cell tower based network from a cost-, coverage- or quality of service perspective.

Just about every appliance and monitoring/control device used in a hospital, healthcare, education, manufacturing, warehouse distribution, office, multi-tenant or retail -environment, is or will-be reliant on wireless network access.  This is the Internet of Things (IoT) and vendors and experts are forecasting an order-of-magnitude growth in the quantity and bandwidth requirements of wireless devices connecting to enterprise networks each year for many years to come.  Your buildings/facilities and network infrastructure have got to be ready for this.  In-building wireless (IBW) solutions are critical to the success of your employees, customers, tenants and operations.

A combination of widely available-, high bandwidth WIFI and indoors based cellular are essential to supporting today's data-hungry devices and applications.  An In-building wireless solution can greatly improve the coverage, bandwidth and quality of service of WIFI and cellular demands in high-rise office buildings; sprawling multi-building campuses; crowded/high-density sports stadiums-, concert- and convention centers; hotel guest and conference rooms and other transient venues like hospitals and airports.

Apollo has partnered with leading wireless and cellular vendors to develop several best-in-class approaches to ensure your customers stay connected:

Distributed antenna systems (DAS) - comprise a network of unobtrusive antennas throughout your building(s), designed to be flexible, scalable and efficient to provide world-class quality of service (QoS) throughout your footprint.   Apollo's DAS systems are easy to deploy and maintain.

DAS systems are a network of low- and high-powered antennas distributed throughout a building or campus to improve network performance both inside and out.

Apollo employs powerful, flexible, end-to-end wireless solutions that support multiple operators, frequencies and technologies.

Indoor small cells and C-RAN (cloud or centralized radio access network) systems
- employ an innovative centralized C-RAN architecture to generate high capacity and excellent coverage without handovers or interference.

Small cells are indoor miniature base stations that enable mobile operators to deliver better service to subscribers in high-density, high-value environments like offices, public-use spaces and homes. They connect to the mobile operator core network via standard broadband Internet connections.  This unique approach forms a single “super cell” that eliminates handovers and interference across large indoor areas and multiplies system capacity without creating interference.  For large venues and enterprises, small cells can offer a consistent, high-quality LTE service at the cost and simplicity of managed Wi-Fi.

Apollo's trained and certified professionals are ready to design and install the cabling infrastructure necessary to support your wireless access points; to integrate your wireless access points into relevant network management, security, asset management and other systems; and to develop a complete wireless solution tailored to your requirements including:

  • Network site engineering (site survey)
  • Spectrum analysis network load analysis
  • RF system design wireless
  • Site tune and testing project management
